The Tokio SL is a BIRKENSTOCK classic that has been on the market since the 1980s. It has established itself as a classic occupational footwear item in the "white coat" professions.
The clog is fitted with an anatomically formed original BIRKENSTOCK cork-latex footbed and a dual-component sole. This comprises a cushioning midsole in EVA and a non-slip, profiled outsole made from genuine rubber. What's more, the outsole is oil- and grease-resistant. Therefore, the clog is particularly well suited to day-to-day wear in hospitals, doctor's offices, and restaurants.
Its upper is made from soft, high-quality leather that is nonetheless shape-retentive. The clog offers both comfort and safety, with its closed design safeguarding the foot from injuries caused by impacts. Thanks to the adjustable strap with a sturdy metal buckle on the instep, it can also be adjusted to the wearer's feet. A heel strap that can be perfectly fitted to the wearer's feet thanks to an individually adjustable metal buckle provides the foot with additional grip and a firm step – even when everyday working life gets hectic.All super-grip sole models have been tested for slip resistance in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO 20347:2012 (SRC category).

Good price for the shoes. They look nice and are very sturdy. Comfortable for the most part. Good walking and running. Sitting still for a while they begin to hurt my feet. Other shoes have done this as well so it may not be related to the shoes at all. May improve as they are broke in.

Great shoe for the money. I found they can get very hot though probably because of all the artificial materials, or perhaps the waterproofing.
